Letter - February 9, 1978 - AFP to Harrison
Dad, Dr. Arthur F. Pillsbury, was a man of his word.  He had a promise to someone he loved and trusted in early 1928.  She had lied about everything he believed was true.  He realized this only many, many years later.

But he kept his word and said nothing about what you will discover yourself until a few months before he died.    Dad always said I was the one in the family who persisted, no matter how long it took.   I would come back to the thing, fiddle with it, look at it and then put it down and walk away.  But, he said, you never give up.  He was right.
