How do you build something as enormous as the photo archive of Arthur C. Pillsbury and keep your sanity?  Good question.  I'm working on it.  If either Grandfather or my Father returned suddenly from the dead my first question would be, "Was the Catalog consolidated or a series of separate catalogs?  Was there any relationship between Y and the postcards?

Pamoramas?  Lantern slides?  Sometimes the same image is used in multiple categories.  Other times I know that image was never used for anything.  It just sat there.  And the family photos appear to be in the same system.  But were they?  According to Grace you went to the same place to pull one up and make yourself a print.

Please send along scans of your images with legible numbers and other information.  I do not want my great-grandchildren doing this, too.
